Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

The GPT Cellular mobile service is provided by GPT Cellular Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17185130), registered office Office No. 49, 9.17 Capital Tower, 91 Waterloo Road, London SE1 8RT, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that provider. We provide mobile telecommunications services as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) operating on the UK's biggest mobile network. We provide mobile data services abroad through a network of international operators.
By ordering an eSIM, activating your service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
These terms apply to all our services, including account management features, eSIM plans, roaming passes, travel eSIMs and any other service we provide.
Your device. Our services are delivered as an eSIM only — we do not supply physical SIM cards. You need a device that supports eSIM and is not locked to another network. It is your responsibility to check this before you buy; our compatibility page explains how.
Buying for someone else. You may buy an eSIM for another person — for example a colleague, an employee or a family member — as long as they have agreed to you giving us their name and email address. Use their email address when you order: the eSIM, the account and every message about it go to that address, and the person it belongs to becomes the account holder and can manage it. You remain responsible for paying for what you order. Buying for other people in this way is not commercial use under section 7; reselling eSIMs or data is.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law, in our services or in what our network partners require. If a change is to your disadvantage and affects a plan you are on, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and you may cancel without charge before it takes effect. A change never affects a one-off purchase you have already made.
When we may suspend service. We may suspend or end your service if we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently or unlawfully, if we are required to by law or by a regulator, if a payment is not made, or as set out in our fair use policy in section 7. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
We sell travel eSIMs: a set amount of mobile data, or an unlimited bundle with a fair-use point, for a fixed number of days, in the country or region you choose. Each one includes:
A travel eSIM is data only. It does not come with a phone number. You cannot make or receive ordinary calls or texts on it, and nobody can call or text you on it. Your usual SIM keeps working alongside it for that, if your device supports two at once.
When your days start. The number of days on a bundle starts when you first use data at the destination it covers — not when you buy it or install it.
A bundle with a fixed amount of data ends when the data is used up or when its validity expires, whichever comes first. A bundle sold as unlimited runs until its validity expires, at reduced speed after its fair-use point (see section 7). There is no overage and no surprise bill: we never charge you for data beyond the bundle you bought.
Coverage is listed on every bundle before you buy. Where a bundle covers more than one country, the full list of countries is on that bundle’s page — please check it rather than assuming a region includes a particular country.
We do not run the networks themselves. Coverage, speed and availability depend on the local operator, on where you are and on your device, so we cannot guarantee a particular speed or that there will be service everywhere within a country.
We offer rolling monthly eSIM plans. Our plans differ from one another in the amount of UK data they include, and in nothing else — every other part of the service described in these terms is the same on all of them. Every plan includes:
Services are provided over the UK's biggest mobile network. Coverage may vary by location and device. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Unlimited UK calls and texts are included on every plan, whichever data allowance you chose, and they are never affected by your data allowance running out. Your unlimited allowance covers calls and texts made in the UK, and while roaming in the destinations covered by section 9, to:
Calls to emergency and public-service numbers are always free and always available: 999 and 112, 101, 105, 111, 116 helplines, 119, and 18000.
The following are not part of your unlimited allowance. At present they are barred on every plan and will not connect. If we make any of them available in future they will be charged separately, and we may bar, restrict or withdraw access to any of them again:
If we make any of these available, we will publish the charge before you can use it. For numbers starting 084, 087, 09 and 118 the total cost has two parts: an access charge set by us, which we will publish here and on our price page, and a service charge set by the organisation you are calling, which that organisation must state wherever it advertises the number.
We also sell travel eSIMs: a fixed amount of mobile data, or an unlimited bundle with a fair-use point, for a fixed number of days in the country or region you choose. A travel eSIM is a separate eSIM from your plan, delivered by email as a QR code, and you do not need a plan with us to buy one.

A bundle with a fixed amount of data ends when the data is used up or its validity expires, whichever comes first. An unlimited bundle runs until its validity expires, at reduced speed after its fair-use point (section 7.2). There is no overage: we never charge you for data beyond the bundle you bought. Cancellation is covered in section 6.2.
Prices are shown on each bundle before you buy, and the price you are shown at checkout is the price you pay.
The price shown is the total. It includes any VAT or other tax we are required to charge.
Prices can change, and the range of bundles we sell can change. A change never affects a bundle you have already bought: what you paid, what you got, and how long it lasts are fixed at the moment of purchase.
Not every bundle is on sale at all times. Where one is listed but cannot currently be bought, we say so on the bundle itself.
Current plan prices are shown on our website. We do not apply annual or inflation-linked price rises. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel your plan without charge during the notice period.
The price shown is the total you pay. It includes any VAT or other tax we are required to charge.
Not every plan we show is on sale at all times. Where a plan is listed but cannot yet be bought, we say so on the plan itself.
You may move to a different plan from your account. A plan change takes effect from the start of your next billing period, and you pay the new price from that date — we do not split a billing period between two plans or charge you a fee for changing.
Until the change takes effect, your current plan's allowance, price and terms continue to apply. Changing your plan does not start a new minimum term, does not change your mobile number, and does not require a new eSIM.
A travel eSIM is paid for once, at the time you buy it. There is nothing recurring: we do not hold a subscription, we will not bill you again, and there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges.
Payment is taken by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. If a payment does not complete, the eSIM is not issued and you are not charged.
The price you pay is the price shown at checkout in the currency you selected. Your bank may apply its own conversion or fees if that currency is not the one your card is held in — that is between you and them, and we do not receive any part of it.
Plans are billed monthly in advance on the date you activated your service. Payment is taken automatically from your chosen payment method. If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you and may suspend your service until payment is received.
You may cancel your plan at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused days.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you took out your plan. To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of your order.
Each travel eSIM is a set amount of data, or an unlimited bundle, for a fixed period, bought outright and supplied in full at the moment it is activated. This section applies to one-off purchases rather than your monthly plan: roaming passes and travel eSIMs. Each gives you a set amount of data — or, for some travel eSIMs, an unlimited bundle — for a fixed period, bought outright and supplied in full at the moment it is activated.
When you buy one, you are asking us to make it available to you straight away rather than waiting 14 days, and you accept that your right to cancel it ends once it has been activated. This is the express request the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide for. Your 14-day right on your monthly plan under 6.1 is not affected.
A roaming pass is activated the moment you buy it. Its full allowance is placed on your line as soon as your payment goes through, and its days start counting then. So once you have bought a pass it cannot be cancelled or refunded, in whole or in part, and we cannot stop it part-way through and return the rest — please check the destinations and dates before you buy.
You may still cancel a travel eSIM for a full refund within 14 days of buying it, provided it has not been activated — that is, installed on a device or used. Data added to a travel eSIM you have already installed counts as activated once any of it is used. To do so, contact us through our contact form and tell us which purchase you mean.
Cancelling takes us up to 2 working days, and it is not complete until we confirm it to you. Until we do, the eSIM stays live on your account. If it is installed or used at any point before we confirm — including after you have contacted us — it counts as activated and no refund is due.
Once a travel eSIM has been activated we cannot refund it, in whole or in part, and we cannot stop it part-way through and return the rest. This is not a penalty: the full allowance of a pass or travel eSIM is bought and paid for on your behalf when it is activated, and how much of it you go on to use makes no difference to that. Unused data is not refunded and does not carry over.
Nothing in this section affects your legal rights if a pass or travel eSIM is faulty or is not what we described. If we cannot deliver what you bought, we will refund you in full.
Our services are intended for personal use, which includes buying for a colleague, an employee or a family member as described in section 2. Using them for commercial purposes, for resale, or in a way that harms the networks we use or other customers is not allowed, and we may suspend or close an account that does.
Where a bundle is sold as unlimited, it has a fair-use point, shown on the bundle before you buy and stated again in your confirmation. Up to that point you get full speed. After it, the bundle keeps working until it ends, but at a reduced speed; it is not cut off and nothing extra is charged. We would rather tell you the number than describe a bundle as endless when it is not.
Each bundle is for use on one device at a time. Sharing the connection with your own devices through a personal hotspot is fine; reselling the data, or using it to provide a service to other people, is not.
Our services are intended for personal use only, which includes buying for a colleague, an employee or a family member as described in section 2. Use of our services for commercial purposes, resale, or in a manner that adversely affects our network or other customers is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be misusing services.
Speed is the same on every plan. We do not cap or throttle your data speed based on which plan you are on — under normal personal use you get full available 4G/5G speeds, with no speed tiers on any plan.
If your plan has a fixed data allowance (for example 30GB or 100GB), that allowance is the amount of data included each monthly billing period, for use in the UK and in the roaming destinations listed in 9.2. It resets at the start of each billing period and unused data does not carry over. We will tell you when you are approaching your allowance and again when you reach it. When it is used up, your data stops for the rest of that billing period — we will not let you keep using data at an extra charge without telling you the price first and obtaining your agreement. Your UK calls and texts are not affected and continue to work as normal.
If you are on an Unlimited plan, there is no fixed monthly data allowance for normal personal use in the UK, and nothing to run out of.
On every plan, a limit applies to how much of your data may be used while roaming — see section 9.1.
In addition, on every plan, to keep the network fast and fair for everyone, a fair use policy applies. We and our network partner reserve the right to manage network traffic and, where necessary, to temporarily reduce speeds (deprioritise your traffic, particularly in congested areas), move you to a more suitable plan, or suspend or terminate service, in cases of abnormal, excessive, fraudulent or non-personal use. This includes, without limitation:
The great majority of customers will never be affected by this policy. We will contact you before taking action wherever reasonably practicable.
Where a travel eSIM bundle is sold as unlimited, it has a fair-use point, shown on the bundle before you buy and stated again in your confirmation. Up to that point you get full speed. After it, the bundle keeps working until it ends, but at a reduced speed; it is not cut off and nothing extra is charged.
You may transfer your existing mobile number to us using the PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) process. We will process your port within 1 working day of receiving a valid PAC code.
To leave us and take your number with you, ask us for your PAC by messaging us from your account. It is free and valid for 30 days. Give it to your new provider, and your plan with us ends when your number moves across.
Roaming in the destinations listed in section 9.2 ("Roam Like at Home") is included in your plan at no extra cost. Your unlimited UK calls and texts, and your data, work there as they do at home — subject to the roaming data limit in section 9.1.
While roaming, your line can call and text UK numbers only. Calls and texts to any other number are barred and will not connect, including calls to a local number in the country you are in — see section 3.2. Emergency calls to 112 always connect. We will tell you before this changes.
Your plan's monthly data allowance covers the data you use in the UK and in the destinations listed in 9.2 — roaming does not give you extra data. Within that allowance, there is a limit on how much may be used while roaming:
Our fair use policy in section 7.1 applies wherever you are.
We will tell you when you are approaching your roaming limit and again when you reach it. Beyond it, we may reduce your roaming data speed or stop your roaming data for the rest of that billing period. We will not charge you for roaming data above the limit without telling you first and obtaining your agreement.
Roaming limits are set by the network we use and may change. If one changes to your disadvantage, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect.
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Martinique, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Réunion, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Monaco and Andorra are not included, despite being surrounded by destinations that are.
Unless you have an active roaming pass (section 9.4), roaming outside the destinations listed in section 9.2 is not available: you will not be able to use data, make or receive calls, or send texts, and an incoming call will not reach your voicemail. Your phone can still receive texts, and calls to 112 still connect. We will let you know if and when full roaming becomes available and how it will be charged.
A roaming pass adds data for destinations outside those listed in section 9.2, on your own number. Each pass has the data allowance, length and list of destinations shown on it when you buy it. Passes cover different destinations and cannot be combined: data on one pass cannot be used in a destination covered only by another. You can hold passes for different destinations on the same number at the same time, but not two passes covering the same destination.
A pass starts the moment you buy it, not when you arrive, and ends when its data is used up or its days run out, whichever comes first. Unused data does not carry over. As section 6.2 explains, a pass cannot be cancelled or refunded once bought.
A pass covers data only. While it is active, your line can also make and receive calls and send texts in the destinations it covers, but these are not included in the pass: they are charged at the per-minute and per-text rates shown on the pass before you buy it, and added to your next bill. The rules in section 3.2 and section 9 about which numbers you can call still apply.
To protect you from an unexpected bill, spending on your line beyond the pass is capped at the amount shown on the pass while it runs; if you hold two passes at once, their caps add together. We will tell you before you reach the cap, and when you reach it, chargeable calls, texts and data stop until the pass ends.
When your pass ends — or, if you hold two, when the last of them ends — your line returns to the roaming settings it had before you bought it.
